Conor cafferkey - director
Conor is a graduate of the Electricity Supply Board (ESB) sponsored innovative Electrical Engineer Scholarship Programme. Having gained practical, hands on experience of electrical supply and the national supply grid in his apprenticeship, he then completed his academic studies in Electrical Engineering at Cork Institute of Technology.
Following graduation, Conor gained broad electrical engineering and project management experience working with some of the leading engineering firms in Ireland.
Conor has a passion for renewal energy production and innovation and over the past number of years has been an Electrical Engineer Project Manager for some of the largest Solar PV installations nationwide.
Conor brings this passion to South East Solar to offer clients the best possible solutions combining the latest technology with their practical needs and infrastructure
bernard patten - director
Bernard holds a degree in Electrical Services and Energy Management from Dublin Institute of Technology and a National Craft Certificate as an Electrical Tradesman. He gained 10 years hands on experience working as an electrician across a variety of sectors and then returned to college to complete his degree. He has a wealth of experience working as an engineering consultant in the pharmaceutical, manufacturing, educational, healthcare and residential industries - delivering both large and small scale projects safely, on time, and on budget.
